As reported, autumn has arrived. It was a long, hot humid summer. Lots of sun, not a lot of rain. People ate, drank, packed on a couple of pounds (well, how can you help it when there are mounds of red meat to be sizzled and devoured and Don's Bakery is doing something special to their sticky buns - slightly undercooking them for that doughy goodness.)

Anyway, one of the bi-products of a summer gone is a fridge full of things you didn't buy. Like coolers. I never buy coolers unless company is coming and I know for a fact they don't drink whisky or beer. And anyway, whisky isn't really for summer consumption anyway is it? So I have a box of coolers, sweet and savoury, that has to be dealt with so that I can start packing the fridge with fall and winter essentials like...like...well, turkey and pumpkins I suppose.

Over the next week or so, I will taste-test these coolers and pass on my findings to you. You can use Pigdump as a guide, as a checklist, as a health warning, as inspiration...

Anyway, stay tuned as I cool things down...before I heat things up. Or something.
