Way back in November, 2006, when I was lazy and confused and prepping to move to warmer digs for the winter, I illustrated what Pigdump would be like if it were a blog.
Well, here I am, still lazy yet hustling and bustling to a 9-5 job everyday -- something I ain't done for about 3-4 years! -- and I haven't produced a spec of TQC™. So it's time to resort to that slacker, lazy man's pseudo content thingy, the blog. I mean, I have to give the faithful something, don't I? So if Pigdump were a blog, it might look something like this:

Holy crap but the subways in Toronto suck! I know it's been a long time since I used them regularly, and even longer since I had to transfer at Yonge and Bloor, but holy crap! On a typical day, I let 2 trains go by...I have no choice, really. And when the 3rd train comes by and I get in, my face is still plastered against a window and some young punk's turbo-sized backpack is digging into my shoulder blade. And why don't people bathe? Or brush their teeth? I should just fart and clear a space!
The TTC could easily use 10 more trains each way at rush hour. Of course Toronto rush hour is from 7AM to about 8PM. Where's the plan?

Okay, so what's with people in cars these days? I swear, as I wait out in the cold for my morning bus ride, I could count on one hand how many cars have more than a driver in them at rush hour. And the cars never stop! Hundreds of them as I huddle in the shelter waiting for the 70 Coxwell or the Woodbine 91 feeling very righteous about my commuting choice. Like can't you carpool or something? People suck!

Man oh man. I just saw the movie "Children of Men." Can you say "bleak"? But excellent too! And bleak. Holy crap. Great directing...unrelenting camera shots of a city and society in decay that go on for 4 minutes without an edit. Michael Caine being brilliant...wasn't he nominated for this? He should have been! The writing and the story...P.D. James wrote this? Holy crap! And the Brits just do this so well. Nothing hitting you over the head. This is a great movie. But man oh man is it bleak!!!

And you thought Hummers on the roads was bad...you should see these frickin Hummers posing as baby strollers! I ask you! Do you really need something that big for junior? And parents who "drive" these things on the sidewalk or the grocery aisles have NO concern at all for others around them. I've been bruised, banged into, pushed off the sidewalk because mothers/dads with these baby-inhabited tanks think the world turns around them. You suck and you have ugly children!
