Some kinda dumb fun

I can't figure this out at all. There's a dumb ad on television these days (well duh!) for a Cher / Whitney Houston / Phil Collins / elevator music / boring middle of the road radio station. One of the big lines that's supposed to inspire listeners to switch to EZ Rock is that "it's FUN to listen to at work." Huh? What exactly does that mean? Is it a laugh a minute? Or does your job just really suck? The only time I ever hear the damn station is when I'm at the dentist and what's so frickin FUN about that? For that matter, what in hell could possibly be FUN about working at a dentist's office? WHY FUN FOR FRICK SAKE?

And another thing... there's an ad for chocolate bars that drives me up the wall. They say "all that chocolatey goodness in a new fun size"... and they're frickin miniature chocolate bars!!! Where's the fun in that? My kinda "fun size" bar would be a half-pounder of creamy milk chocolatey goodness! Or a 200 gram bar of peanutty caramelly chocolate-covered crispy teats. How could there possibly be any fun in a teeny frickin tiny bite sized morsel? Fun? My frickin ass!

Thanks and good luck.

A year ago on Pigdump:
One day, our music producer booked a big act, a big ticket guest who was in the big city to drum up excitement for his new rock opera. Well, it wasn't a new rock opera, but it was a revival of a rock opera that the guy had done back in that decade when things were so much better and cooler than they are now. It was Pete Townshend, the guitar genius from The Who. More.
