When a player wins the Conn Smyth Trophy as the MVP for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, he is usually prompted to look into a specific camera while holding the Cup (or the Trophy) and scream "I'm going to Disneyland!"

Tonight, Jean-Sebastien Giguere is going to win the Most Valuable Player award whether his team wins the Cup™ or not. So the thing is, does he have to look into the ESPN/ABC/Disney camera and scream "I'm going to Disneyland!"? Isn't that a bit redundant? I mean of COURSE he's going to Disneyland, that's where his team lives. In the dormitory right down the hall from all 101 Dalmatians. So you can imagine the stink!

Really. Wouldn't it be better if he said "I'm going to Canada's Wonderland!" or perhaps "I'm going golfing with Wayne Gretzky!" That would be funny. And ironic. After all, it was Wayne who said once upon a time ago that the New Jersey Devils were a Mickey Mouse outfit. Heh. And the Devils and Mickey's Mighty Ducks went 7 games to settle the Stanley Cup. Heh heh. I'm going golfing with Wayne Gretzky! Heh heh. I like that one.
