		The media are starting their countdowns - who were the 100 most influential people of the past 1000 years, what events changed our lives in the last millennium... all the biggest, best and most important. We at Pigdump like to celebrate the underdog, the small victories in day-to-day life. Here is our first list of not-so-spectacular events of the past 1000 years.
