| The archivist's Pigdump The Pigdump editorial team spent a grey, rainy weekend going through the vaults in the basement of Pigdump central. And do you know what they found? An interesting piece of audio tape (that's what we used before those MP3s, eh?)
First of all, the tape is a matter of Canadian cultural pride: a lovely moment of jocularity between a prominent national public radio host from the past and a prominent national public radio host from the present. Secondly, it was recorded by the senior editor at Pigdump. And finally, it is an historic moment: it was the first time that the name Pigdump entered the public psyche, broadcast live to a national audience. Listen up.
Isn't that something? The beloved author of numerous Morningside Papers easing the Pigdump brand onto the national stage one Friday morning in the 1990's. And no, I don't mean Jean Beliveau... that's a story for another time. Mr. Gzowski and his heir apparent Ms. Rogers sharing the first public Pigdump joke.
So face it, kids, Pigdump is bigger and better than you thought! Sharing the same air space with Prime Ministers, sports heroes and cultural icons. Top Quality Content Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the show. Thanks and good luck.
