You know, lately friends have been telling me what I should put on Pigdump: "Didn't you hear what Scary Spice said about the internet? Man she's weak. That's so Pigdump. You should put it up there."; "Man oh man, Trish, I can't believe all the good US election stuff you could have been putting on Pigdump."; "I can't believe I haven't read anything about the dot com collapse on Pigdump. I was sure you'd be taunting all those frickin MBA clowns as their start-ups went teets up."
I have one thing to say to these people: Publish your own frickin Web site!
You see, sometimes it's difficult day in day out to get the good stuff online. This week, for instance, it's not that I haven't had an idea or two, it's just that the festive season and all that comes with it has been keeping me from my little laptop. In the pictures at left, you will see the two main reasons why Pigdump has sucked this week...
At top is evidence of the aftermath of the Pigdump Christmas party. Since the office cleaning staff was offered more cash and benefits at another hip dot com house, the clean-up task was entirely left to me. Every dish that was soiled, every crumb that fell off the cookie decorating table -- it's taken me days.
And in the bottom picture, you'll see what I've been doing when I haven't been cleaning! Goodness, but this festive season has brought on the snow! Digging out the company car every day, digging out the front sidewalk, digging out the back deck...
So yes, I know Pigdump hasn't been there for you every day this week. And I know you all have so many great ideas. As always, I will do my best to make Pigdump a better experience for all in the coming weeks (so just lay frickin off okay?)
