Okay, I finally get it.

I thought Limp Bizkit was a stupid, wanker, 15-year-old-acne boy band that existed only to shock and upset people like me.
Well, I did find it detestable, noise with no melody. Hmmm... where have I heard that before? Probably when I started listening to Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen and the Pretenders and the Police and Elvis Costello and Blondie... (you get the picture) and my folks said "that's not music, that's noise!"

The only way to break this ugly pattern where kids become their parents is to embrace the new hot thing, to squeeze the size 40 waist into size 30 bellbottoms, to shave the head and pierce the nipple. Be PHAT!
