I planted a big bulb called an Autumn Crocus in late August. They say that if you plant it before September 1st, when it blooms you know you're six weeks from the first snowfall. Here's my crocus today:
Sigh.
Though my sister says hers has been blooming in Ottawa for a while now.
Enjoy your world wherever you are as much as you can before it snows.
And don't eat the autumn crocus either. It's poisonous.
And don't eat yellow wno either.
Thanks and good luck.
