And then there's Bruichladdich, the notorious distillers of Whisky of Mass Destruction. Heh heh. They're actually making a new whisky which will be the peatiest in the world. It's called Octomore and you can buy futures in it. Anyway, this is your tour guide at Bruichladdich:
Then way, way, way up the coast is Bunnahabhain. It might be my least favourite Islay whisky, but I got me a terrific shoreman's chapeau that will keep my head toasty in the winter as the whisky warms my belly.
